While you’re on your way

Knocked-out tooth

Keep it moist by tucking it in your cheek or a cup of milk, and get to us as fast as you can.

Broken or chipped tooth

Save any pieces and rinse your mouth gently with warm water.

Swelling

Hold a cold compress to the outside of your cheek. Don’t apply heat. If swelling makes it hard to breathe or swallow, go to the ER or call 911.

Pain

An over-the-counter painkiller is fine. Skip very hot or cold food and drink until we see you.

Dr. Nagham has been practising dentistry since 1998, first in Baghdad, then in Dubai, and now here in London, where she opened her own practice. Over those years she has worked across many areas of dentistry, from everyday care for families to more involved treatment.
